HE WILL DIE BEFORE HE GETS IN….and once on methadone there is no other way out 😦 I know my daughter just went through a rapid detox and will be on naltrexone for one year (if she does opiates it will kill her). We were gone from NS for 6 days. Mind you it costs…but it doesn’t cost anymore than a funeral. Methadone is a death sentence but the only thing available around the maritimes. I have my daughter back….and she holds her head high now. It is only 3 days since we have been back, but everyone sees a “great girl”. The longer they are on methadone the harder it is to get off…..people don’t understand. i thought it was the answer for her too….it wasn’t it was liquid handcuffs.
